To grow any business, you need leads. People that are interested in your product, service, and opportunity. People that are willing (or even eager) to do business with you. You draw these types of prospects to you by using targeted marketing - and it starts with knowing what your market is looking for. If you have no idea, start with asking yourself "what problem does my product / business solve? Who does it help?" Then, you take that knowledge to the venues in which your prospects hang out. Online, offline...it doesn't matter. You do need to know where your market is, and what they are looking for. Then, your marketing becomes less about convincing and begging and more about sorting those who are truly interested from those who are not. That's what lead generation is all about.
